CHORONI
A perfectly preserved 300 year old village on the coast
surrounded by mountainous national parklands makes
Choroní one of the most attractive colonial towns in
Venezuela. A 40 mile drive through the enchanting mist
covered tropical cloud forest of Henri Pittier National
Park, a paradise for bird watching and wildlife
enthusiasts, takes you to this incredible coastal
retreat. Guided treks to the rainforest, boat excursions,
swimming, snorkeling, fishing or just relaxing in a
hammock are some of the activities you may enjoy.

MORROCOY
A smattering of mangrove-lined channels, coral keys and
lagoons all form the Morrocoy Marine National Park. Swim
in an aquarium of extraordinary rich underwater coral and
marine life. The beaches of the islands all have fine
white sand, crystalline turquoise waters and live coral
reefs. Home of frigate birds, spoonbills, flamingoes,
brown boobies, pelicans and the scarlet ibis - a birder's
paradise. Snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving,
water-skiing and sailing in these tropical waters make
Morrocoy a unique water wonderland.

ROQUES
An half an hour by light plane from Caracas, 80 miles off
Venezuela's mainland are the dazzling white sand beaches,
coral reefs and brilliant blue crystalline waters of the
Los Roques Archipelago National Park. Some 300 small
islands are the seasonal home of few intrepid fishermen
and the permanent home to pelicans, flamingoes, lobsters,
turtles, and dozens of varieties of tropical fish. This
beautiful marine park is ideal for swimming, snorkeling,
fishing and scuba diving. Some of the world's best
bonefishing is to be found here.
