Montaña Adventure is a leading company specialized in adventure and cultural travelling throughout Venezuela. It was founded back in the eighties by the American adventurer Jerry Keeton who came to explore and teach chemistry at Universidad de Los Andes.  He and his friends took people to climb mountains they did not even know existed. Now we are older and more experienced but we still do that magical mystery tour... at the level you choose... Jerry has partnered in the business with the young and enthusiastic adventurer and naturalist Albaro Araujo, who has been the actual operations manager in the company for several years.

We offer a broad range of activities varying from trekking, climbing, mountain biking, birding, horseback riding, paragliding, snorkelling, rafting and fishing to “soft-adventure” nature and cultural safaris. Our trip guides are carefully selected for their travel experience and general knowledge of the various cultural and natural aspects encountered on the way. Besides being highly qualified and experienced, they are great travel companions and good friends. The main office is located in the city of Merida, capital of the Venezuelan Andes.
